TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.DEFINITIONS
1.1 In these Terms of Business the following definitions apply: “Client” means the person, firm or corporate body together with any holding or subsidiary or associated company for which work is to be carried out “Company” Circuit Electrical Testing Ltd, Unit 6 The Sugar Refinery, Dewsbury Road, Leeds, LS11 7DF

2. THE CONTRACT
2.1 These Terms constitute the contract between the Company and the Client and are deemed to be accepted by the Client by the virtue

3. QUOTED COST OF WORKS
3.1 The quoted cost of works is based on information supplied by the client at the time of making enquiry and scheduling of works. These costs are calculated using various methods such as a tier costing system for PAT testing based on the number of items to test. Cost s for Fixed Wire Testing is based upon the number of Circuits to test. These costs are again based on a tier system based on the number of circuits to test. Circuit Electrical Testing apply minimum site fee’s for both PAT testing and Fixed Wire Testing. If this charging strategy is applicable it will be detailed in the Quotation identifying the number of tests that will be carried out for this cost and any additional charges should the number of items tested exceed that stated as included in the minimum site fee.
3.2 If the Client wishes to cancel the works prior to the start/scheduled date then a minimum notice of 48 hours must be given. If this notice period is not adhered to charges may apply. If work is to be postponed as long as 48 hours notice is given no charges will be applied.

4. INVOICED COST OF WORKS
4.1 The Invoiced Cost of works is based on the actual work carried out. This can be cross referenced with the reports supplied following completion of the works.

5. PAYMENT
5.1 Invoices are sent with the reports on completion of the job. The Invoice will include a number of sites for jobs where more than one site is scheduled.
5.2 The Invoice is payable within 14 days of the Invoice date.
5.3 Any queries with the invoice should be addressed as soon as possible to avoid any delays with the payment been made/received.
5.4 We reserve the right to charge a 5% Late Payment Fee on any Invoices not paid within 28 days.

6. LIABILITY
6.1 The company has insurance for it’s own employees and any works carried out by Circuit Electrical Testing Ltd.

7. LAW
7.1 These Terms are governed by the law of England & Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
