Job Specification: Fixed Wire Testing Engineer

Full time (40 Hrs)

BASELINE £30,000 per annum

OTE £40,000+ per annum

We are looking for an experienced Fixed Wire Testing Engineer to join our dynamic, growing nationwide team.

What you will do

You will be a quality engineer, testing electrical installations throughout the UK to ensure our clients maintain high levels of safety. From Fixed Wire (EICR) and Emergency Lighting to Fire Alarm and Thermal Imaging Testing, you will bring a high quality of testing to everything you do.

You will be a great ambassador of the company, following our test processes, living our values and providing great customer service. You will be a strong communicator, keeping everyone up to date with your progress, providing accurate paperwork and following Health and Safety work regulations, Risk Assessments and Health and Safety Policies.

Qualifications:

City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2

City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent

Experience preferred but training will be given to the successful applicant with relevant qualifications.

As our clients are based all over the UK, we need you to be able to work away from home and occasional weekends. We try to keep this to a minimum and give you as much notice as possible.

We need you to be self-motivated and ready to carry out the demands of the job, have a full, clean driving licence and meet the requirements of an enhanced DBS certificate.

You will be a great communicator, be friendly and approachable and have the capacity to manage your time and use our phone/IT software.
